Integration experience with Pickit

# Fénix Integration with Pickit REST API

Based on the requirements defined by the client, we developed a complete integration between Fénix and the Pickit REST API to automate home delivery shipment processing, reducing manual tasks and enabling real-time tracking of each shipment.

The solution includes the development of the following components:

1. **Automatic shipment creation:** automatic generation of shipments through Pickit’s Simplified Transaction API at the moment an order is created, identifying the appropriate delivery method for each store.

2. **Label generation and printing:** a process that consumes Pickit services to retrieve shipment labels, associate them with the order, and make them available for printing during the picking process in Fénix.

3. **Invoice and dispatch association:** adaptation of the billing process to link each delivery note (remito) with its corresponding Pickit shipment, enabling automatic status updates.

4. **Automatic status updates:** implementation of a web service that receives Pickit Webhooks and automatically updates shipment statuses and sub-statuses within Fénix in real time.

5. **Integration with the Shipping module:** incorporation of Pickit as a carrier within the Shipping module, including dispatch and shipment release processes.

## Technical Scope

* Integration of Pickit as a carrier within Fénix.
* JSON construction and invocation of the Simplified Transaction API.
* Implementation of a Webhook receiver service to process real-time status notifications sent by Pickit.
* Definition, together with the client, of the mapping between Pickit statuses/sub-statuses and Fénix delivery statuses.
* Integration of carrier status updates with existing Web Services available for resellers.

This integration enables full automation of the delivery lifecycle—from order creation and label printing to tracking and automatic status updates—optimizing logistics operations and improving end-to-end shipment traceability.
